Trillanes gathered evidence to support Motabato's testimony
The senator claims that Motabato's testimony regarding Duterte's Davao Death Squad is true.
On Sunday, Senator Antonio Trillanes IV announced that he will present evidence and information that will prove Edgar Motabato's testimony true.
The senator said he will show his colleagues in the next Senate hearing the fruits of his own investigation.
Trillanes asserted that his fellow senators seem to be stuck in finding loopholes and mistakes in Motabato's testimony instead of looking through it to find some truth.
"Habang yung mga kasamahan natin ay nakatutok kung paano bubutasan si Mr. Matobato, ako nagkalap ng mga ebidensya at impormasyon to validate ang mga sinasabi niya," he said.
He stated his efforts in investigating the case during his stay at the Honor Committee of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
The senator said his fellow senators would soon realize that Motabato is telling the truth.
Trillanes also welcomed the invitation of the Senate to police officers who are said to be members of the Davao Death Squad to strengthen Motabato's credibility.
That’s one test of the credibility. Then palalim tayo ng palalim," he added.
