CRAB MENTALITY: Anti-Duterte Netizens Mocks President for Safest City Bombing.

Friday night shook the whole country as Davao City infamous night market was bombed and created a huge explosion. This killed 10 people on the spot and 4 more upon arrival at the hospital. It also injured 67 people. The Abu Sayyaf immediately claimed the responsibility for the bombing but the authorities are still conducting an investigation about the incident. This is believed to be the ASG’s response to the recent announcement of the government of ‘all-out’ war against them.

Meanwhile, during the hype of the bombings and the news, some anti-Duterte netizens mock Davao City for being tagged as the ‘Safest City in the Country.’ Some even claimed that the bombing was planned by Duterte to use an excuse to declare Martial Law.

These were denounced by Duterte supporters and other netizens who believe that everyone should just be praying for the victims instead of making this about politics. Even Department of Tourism Undersecretary Kat De Castro has condemned this claims regarding the casualty.
